The 'Wheels of Yesteryear' event took place on 27th August 2008.

The parade of vintage vehicles was due to follow a route from the
 Scottish Mining Museum at Newtongrange to Lennoxlove Estate,
passing through Gifford on the way.

Unfortunately the run was cut short and only three or four vehicles
came through the village. The huge rise in petrol prices seems to have
been the reason for the curtailed run.

Here we see an Alvis drop-head coupe and a Velocette motorcycle.
